I've never liked the name Timothy (what were my parents thinking!), but Tim works just fine.

As many have guessed from my accent, I'm English. I'm currently living in America, near Morgantown, a small town about 30 miles south of Indianapolis.

You may well ask what someone from England is doing buried in the depths of rural Indiana.

It's a long story and I'm not going to dwell on the details. Suffice it to say I married an American who was living in Los Angeles at the time.

Her name is Doris. She was from Indianapolis originally and when the craziness of the LA scene became unbearable, she thought about returning to Indiana.

So off we drove to Indiana in our big Ford station wagon with our 12 cats, while the bulk of our possessions (which consisted mainly of our stock in trade, old phonograph records) made the trip by moving van.

It's not an experience I'd recommend or would ever want to repeat!
